I was asked to post some more fashion-related articles on the site so I hopped on the computer and went to an old favorite of mine, Jak & Jil. They’re always good for something off the wall, classy and fabulous. I stumbled on this photo-documentary of Anna Dello Russo getting ready for the Vogue Paris ball. I’m planning a Black Cotillion here at Penn State so I thought that this was more than fitting due to what’s going on in my head at the moment.
I have never been a real fan of head-wear itself, but I am in love with the classy yet raw sexuality that is achieved when women wear masks to a formal event. This probably stems from the fact that I saw Nicole Kidman naked in Eyes Wide Shut at a young age. I am going to go out on a limb and say that I was sexually imprinted with those images but eh, what can you do? I’m not going to complain. Anyway, here are the rest of the pictures. Enjoy.
