I would like to say congratulations to Pamela Joyner (top) and Sheila Johnson (bottom) for their upcoming roles in President Obama’s Committee on the Arts & Humanities. Pamela Joyner is a super socialite who serves as Trustee Emeritus of The San Francisco Ballet, a Trustee of The School of American Ballet and sits on the Board of Trustees at Dartmouth College. She holds an A.B. from Dartmouth as well as an M.B.A from Harvard. She is a founding partner of Avid Partners LLC. Sheila Johnson co-founded BET with her husband Robert Johnson. She is the founder and CEO of Salamander Hospitality as well as the only black woman to own three professional sports teams. I can’t wait to see what these two extremely successful women do.
